La biblioteca familiar es una forma adecuada de iniciar desde la infancia el respeto y el valor por la biblioteca. Se trata de un hábito que abarca
a todos los miembros de la familia, desde los niños hasta los más adultos. Con la finalidad de promover el hábito de lectura en el ambiente comunitario y familiar se presenta la descripción de los elementos necesarios (estructura
organizativa, espacio físico, costes administrativos) para poner en marcha un servicio que sirva de soporte a ese objetivo, para proporcionar asesoría y en lo posible, los medios físicos, documentales y bibliográficos necesarios.

Abstract
The family library is an appropriate way to  initiate respect and value for the library from childhood. It is a habit that covers all members of the family, from children to adults. With the purpose of promoting the habit of reading in the community and family environment, a description of the necessary elements (organizational structure, physical space, administrative costs) is presented to implement a service that supports this objective, to provide advice. and, as far as possible, the necessary physical, documentary and bibliographical means.
